OYEP develops programs designed to educate, empower, and support young people while strengthening connections between youth, families, schools, and our community. As our organization grows, we will continue expanding our programs to meet the needs of the young people we serve.
OYEP’s School Anti-Bullying Program is designed to bring engaging, age-appropriate education directly into schools through assemblies and interactive learning. The program focuses on helping students understand bullying, recognize its impact, develop empathy, make positive choices, and know how to seek help when they or someone else needs support.
• Recognize different forms of bullying and harmful behavior
• Understand how bullying can affect others
• Practice empathy, kindness, and respect
• Respond safely when they witness bullying
• Speak up and seek help from a trusted adult
• Make positive choices that contribute to a safer school environment
To reinforce the lessons presented during our school assemblies, OYEP plans to provide students with educational and take-home materials that help keep the message going beyond the presentation. Materials may include anti-bullying wristbands, informational brochures, handouts, activity materials, and other age-appropriate resources that support the curriculum.
OYEP welcomes opportunities to partner with schools and educators to bring our anti-bullying program directly to students. Schools interested in learning more about the program, discussing an assembly, or exploring future scheduling opportunities are encouraged to contact OYEP.
OYEP is committed to growing alongside the needs of the youth and families we serve. As funding, partnerships, and resources become available, we plan to develop and introduce additional programs that provide young people with opportunities for education, leadership, personal growth, community involvement, and positive connections.
Community support makes it possible for OYEP to expand our reach and develop meaningful opportunities for young people. Donations and sponsorships help provide educational materials, program resources, outreach activities, and the support needed to bring new youth-focused initiatives to life. Together, we can continue building programs that empower youth and strengthen our community.
